Acro Yoga as motivation
Children have a natural sense of curiosity, honest interest, and pure joy of exercises. Our aim is to retain all these abilities and feelings. In contrast to the classic, frontal model of education, we respect and prefer questions and individual differences. Instead of pouring loads of data into our trainees head, we motivate them to discover themselves without limits. In childhood this happens naturally. For adults we offer to help to find the way back to honest and joyful interest by Acro Yoga. We inspire them to make their further dreams come true.
Motto: "Acro Yoga is the gentle way of self-actualisation."

As a child I liked to do gymnastics and to run. I was 5 years old when my father installed a stretching bar and a ring swing in the garden of our house. I played there and on the climbing frames. When I saw acrobatic stunts in a dance musical, I wanted to become an acrobat. Then airplanes flew over our city, and I enthusiastically collected the thrown out flyers. At that time I wanted to become a pilot. Very soon it turned out that I was better at mathematics, so I became a mathematician. In order to remain connected to sports, I took part in ball games. During my years at university, I was trained as a glider pilot, and today I teach flying as an instructor. I have been dancing for many years, and for some years I have also been doing yoga and intensive Acro Yoga. I still go to dance and acrobatic classes, and love sharing the joy of Acro Yoga with others.
"In my childhood I thought that acrobatics was a game. Today I know."
Besides my name, Irma, I also got courage, openness, and the love and happiness of life from my parents. In my childhood I used to watch the acrobats in the circus in awe, and wondered how they can so easily move in the air, stretch, and jump into and and jump into each other's arms. I also loved the way the rope-dancers walked with great confidence on the tightrope. Not surprisingly, I wanted to be one of them. However, after a knee-injury, life led me in another direction. I took pedagogy and became a kindergarten teacher. After that I studied lifestyle counseling and pastoral care, as health (both physical and mental) was always important to me. Now that my children have grown up and I found a partner who is very supportive, encouraging, collaborative and has a similar way of thinking, I feel it is my time to make my childhood-dreams come true. My age doesn't matter here, the point is believing it is possible if I do my best. The more I do, the better I feel which is the most wonderful thing.
